The Rain

To revitalize the mighty brain,
To relieve out the aching pain,
Here comes the hidden beauty,
Behold! The rain’s coming again.

Thick sheet of clouds in dare,
Arrived, has escorted the blare,
Rendering the ambiance gloomy,
Spreading a jolly scent in air.

Scampering under the open sky,
Sodden children smiling in shy,
Peeking each other delightedly,
Waiting long for the next try.

A rain-drop on a grass blade,
Some dribbling over the shade,
Myriad splashes in the water,
I fancy, how long will it raid?
